Bryn Y Gwin caravan and campsite, terms and conditions
- Cash payment in full is to be made on arrival for tourers/capmers OR by the 1st of March for seasonal caravans , failure to pay may result in your booking being cancelled. Any outstanding or unpaid fees could lead to legal action. All payments and deposits are non-refundable when cancelling all OR part of your booking.
- We have ZERO tolerance of anti-social, threatening or abusive behaviour! Anyone acting this way will be removed from the site immediately, along with the family or group they are part of and there will be no refund of any fees paid. Please note; littering or fouling the site facilities is classed as anti-social behaviour.
- Touring arrival is from 2pm to 8.30pm and departure is before 11am. A later departure may be possible by arrangement, but an additional fee will be charged.
- ONLY domestic waste can be disposed of at this site. No tents, gazebo’s, broken chairs, BBQ’s, kettles, microwaves, washing up bowls, plastic bins, etc, to be left on site or by the bins. Anyone disposing of non-domestic waste on this site will incur a £50 charge for removal of their items. Anyone leaving a tent or caravan onsite after their departure will incur a disposal cost of a minimum of £250.
- All noise must be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am. At all other times noise must be kept to a level as to be considered respectful and not disturb other patrons.
- Pitch fees do not include the charging of electric vehicles. This may be possible if arranged in advance with the site owners and will incur additional costs.
- Oversized units, extra vehicles, gazebo’s, glawning’s etc, that do not fit on a standard pitch will incur additional fees. If 2 units ie; a caravan and an additional campervan or tent are on the same pitch, they will charged as 2 units.
- Climbing over walls, fences and gates is not permitted under any circumstance.
- Litter will not be tolerated, this must be cleared away and disposed of properly immediately after any activity or use of a facility.
- Children under 14 years old must be supervised at all times by a responsible and sober adult when using the tyre swings and fire pits, these facilities are used entirely at your own risk, the proprietors will not be held responsible for any accident or injury resulting from the use of the facilities.
- The fishing lake is worked on a day ticket basis and these MUST be purchased for each and every participant, from the Farmhouse BEFORE any fishing is commenced. Children under the age of 14 years MUST be supervised by an adult at all times. All fish must be returned alive.
- No fires are permitted on the site, other than in one of the designated fire pit areas. Anyone wanting to use the fire pit facilities MUST sign a separate disclaimer PRIOR to commencing use and these facilities are used entirely at your own risk. Patrons own bbq's must not drop ash or make the pitch in any way, damaging the pitch will incur additional charges. Bbq's must be used in a safe manner away from awnings.
- Children and livestock are present at Bryn Y Gwin, therefore there is a maximum speed limit of 5 miles per hour in force throughout the site at all times. Cars must be taxed and insured.
- Chemical toilet waste (Elsan) is to be disposed of ONLY in the designated disposal points, not in the toilets. Nappies, pads and other sanitary products must be disposed of in the bins provided and not put down the toilets or in the chemical waste points.
- Dogs must be kept under control and in the owners vicinity/tethered at all times, with any mess being cleaned up immediately. Aggressive or excessively noisy dogs are not allowed on this site. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
- No business, trade, agency or service may be carried out on Bryn Y Gwin Caravan and Campsite. No sub-letting of any seasonal or permanent caravans.
- All caravans must be insured by the owner and be equipped with at least one working fire extinguisher.
- No air guns, firearms, fireworks or explosives to be discharged on this site.
- The water provided on this site is for drinking, personal hygiene and domestic use only; not for washing caravans and cars. This may be possible with the owners prior consent and will only be permitted if there is an abundance of water via the sites private water supply.
- Bryn Y Gwin is a working farm and as such has ongoing work being carried out, along with stored equipment, stacked wood and building materials. These are usually kept around the farmhouse and outbuildings, therfore parents/guardians must ensure children are kept away and do not play around any such hazards.
- If any of our terms and conditions are broken this may lead to immediate removal from the site without a refund at the owner’s discretion.
- Seasonal & permanent caravanner’s are responsible for maintaining the grass in the immediate vicinity of their caravans. The proprietors will only maintain the grass as close as is safe to do so, without risking damage to property when using the commercial mowing machinery.
- Seasonal and permanent caravanners Summer season is 1st of March to the 31st of October with over wintering paid for seperately .
- A £200 non refundable deposit is required at the end of October to secure the same seasonal pitch for the following year and this will be deducted from the following seasons pitch fees.
- Seasonal and permanent caravans pay for their electricity usage at 2 monthly intervals throughout the season OR if the caravan is taken off the site early the meter will be read at this time and payment will be due immediately (this is in addition to the advance payment of their yearly pitch fees which do not include electric). Payment must be made within a 14 day period from invoicing. Failure to pay within this timeframe may lead to legal action being taken.
